4A molecular sieve, alternatively referred to as zeolite 4A, is a kind of aluminosilicate crystal characterized by uniform pores with an average diameter of 4 angstroms (0.4 nanometers). This unique structural feature endows it with exceptional molecular sieving capabilities: molecules possessing a kinetic diameter of less than 4 angstroms can be readily adsorbed within its porous framework, while those exceeding this size are effectively precluded from entering.
